Do you ever have days when you just feel full of joy for the Lord? No matter where you may find yourself today, remember that we have reasons to praise God every single day. From the breath in our lungs to the blessings we receive, our hearts have great reasons to praise Him! As you step into your day, may you be able to join Tauren Wells and declare Let the Church Sing!
Tauren Wells
Throughout his time in CCM, Tauren Wells has had great musical successes on and off the stage. From writing ten GRAMMY nominated songs to earning 1 billion+ worldwide music streams, Wells has clearly won the adoration of his audiences (taurenwells.com). Behind the scenes of his musical talents, though, is Wells’ deeper focus on pursuing the Lord’s call in his life. This is the priority that fuels everything else he does. While he loves writing songs of praise to the Lord, Wells loves being a part of the Church just as much (if not more). Whether it’s his music, his ministry, or his service, Wells values honoring the Lord and loving others.
Like all of us, Wells has faced many challenges in developing the gifts God placed in him. Despite these hardships, Wells persevered in the beginning of his career, and he perseveres now. Today, Wells continues serving the Lord through his music and his church ministry. He works alongside his wife at the church they started, and he includes his family at the beginning of his creative projects.
“Before the world ever hears a note, reads a word, or witnesses a performance, Tauren
always shares his artistry with his wife and children. He doesn’t write, sing, or perform
in pursuit of success; it’s much purer than that. He creates in order to draw his family
closer to their collective faith, imparting lasting strength upon them.”

Tauren Wells knows the God he serves, and he wants other believers to have joy in their faith, too. It’s with his God-centered heart and his family-oriented mindset that he continues writing songs like Let the Church Sing.
Let the Church Sing
Let the Church Sing is Tauren Wells’ latest song of praise to the Lord. Throughout the song, Wells describes both the unique nature of God and the unique praise we have to offer Him. Because of God’s great grace, we have been forgiven for all our sins and brought into relationship with Him. We don’t just praise God because He is wonderful and mighty, but also because He is personal and close. God loves us so much that He chose to redeem us completely through Jesus Christ. When we were helpless, He offered us salvation.
In the bridge, Wells sings, “If you’ve been washed by the blood, filled with His Spirit / Ain’t no sound like the forgiven.” What a powerful truth that is. As believers, we have songs of praise to sing that no one else knows before they meet the Lord. Let the Church Sing is a joyful reminder that we have been made new because of Jesus. Where we were once hopeless, we have hope; once restless, we have peace; once distraught, we have joy. Thanks be to God that we have such precious praises to sing.

Lyrics
We love one truth, we crown one name
We bow to one king, we follow one way
One faith, one gospel, one cross, one grave
One resurrection we share by grace, so we sing
No one like our God, only one we need
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing
No one like our God, only one we need
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah
From cathedrals to forgotten towns
Behind stained glass and underground
On fire, we’re charging Pentecost till now
Lighting up the darkness, and we won’t burn out
Everybody say
No one like our God, only one we need
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing
No one like our God, only one we need
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah
Let the redeemed, let the redeemed
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
Let the redeemed, let the redeemed
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
If you’ve been washed by the blood, filled with His Spirit
Ain’t no sound like the forgiven
Let the redeemed, let the redeemed
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
No one like our God, only one we need (No one like our God)
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing (Hallelujah)
No one like our God, only one we need
Holy is our Lord, hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah, let the church sing (No one like our God, yeah)
Halle-halle-hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah, let the church sing
Halle-halle-hallelujah
