Toby McKeehan, better known as his stage name TobyMac began his career with the Christian rock and rap Trio, DC Talk in 1987. In 2000, Toby ventured out on his own and has since released seven studio albums and five remixed albums.

To describe Toby as a dynamic artist would be an understatement. He is not only a talented song writer and performer, but a co-author as well. He has collaborated with Michael Tait and Kevin Max to write two books, “Jesus Freaks: DC Talk and The Voice of the Martyrs – Stories of Those Who Stood for Jesus, the Ultimate Jesus Freaks” and “Jesus Freaks: Revolutionaries: Stories of Revolutionaries Who Changed Their World: Fearing GOD, Not Man“.

His latest single “Promised Land” serves as a reminder that the promised land is not merely a destination, but also represents a relationship with the Lord. His music video was filmed in honor of his grandfather who worked in the coal mines of Virginia.

Toby and His wife Amanda are parents to five children. The recent and sudden loss of their oldest son, Truett inspired another recent work, the song entitled “Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight)” and a tribute song entitled “21 Years”…
