NEEDTOBREATHE has been a long-time favorite on Celebration Radio. We are excited to feature them on our KAMB Artist Profile.

History

In 2001, Bo and Bear Rineheart along with Joe Stillwell and Seth Bolt formed NEEDTOBREATHE. It was then that they independently released their first album, The Feature. A handful of albums followed and got the attention of Lava Records, owned by Universal Music Group and the band signed in 2005. They went on to sign with Atlantic and Sparrow records and took a trip over to the UK to record their first studio album.

They have gone on to produce 8 albums and have won several GMA Dove Awards. Lead singer, guitar and piano player, Bear Rineheart’s voice is unmistakable. Seth Bolt plays bass and background vocals. Josh Lovelace plays the keyboard and provides background vocals as well. Randall Harris is on drums and percussion and Tyler Burkum plays guitar. Bear’s brother, Bo Rineheart, has recently left the band.
