This past week, KAMB held our fall fundraiser, and by weeks end we fell short of our goal. The need was $95,000 and we received 67% of that goal, with $31,066 still needed. As a listener-funded radio station dependent on friends like you, would you prayerfully consider giving to help us get closer to our need?

KAMB is excited to keep encouraging our listening family as August ends and the new school year begins. As we look for ways to honor God every day, remember that worship music is a great place to start! Among the latest hits at our station you’ll find Walk With Jesus by Consumed By Fire.

Consumed By Fire first began when three brothers decided to create music together. Caleb, Jordan, and Josh Ward were raised in a Christian home with pastoring parents in Oklahoma. As the brothers got older, they developed their musical talents and used their gifts for the Lord. Their parents’ ministry was a large influence in their lives, and they later sought to engage in ministry themselves. Such focus is clear in every song Consumed By Fire releases as they boldly tackle hard truths head on. The Christian walk is messy and full of difficulty, and these brothers are unafraid to talk about it. To live for Christ is to die to oneself daily. This is the message Consumed By Fire seeks to share.
Over the years, Consumed By Fire has released multiple albums and great singles. Their most recent album, however, has driven up their popularity with its raw themes and powerful lyrics. Walk With Jesus is their latest hit and you don’t want to miss it.

Walk With Jesus
In Walk With Jesus, Consumed By Fire describes the character of Jesus and the reality of choosing His ways over our own. Unlike anything this world can give us, Jesus offers us eternal promises and security. Something spiritual, transformative, and powerful happens when we commit our lives to Christ. Everything that once held value to us shifts. We may still care about those things, but our love for Jesus outweighs them all. Walk With Jesus reminds us of how much better things are when we’re pursuing Him. Every struggle, temptation, and heartache becomes endurable when we walk with our Savior.
Yet, there is an even deeper struggle when we choose to follow Jesus: it isn’t easy. Sometimes the path towards Him is the loneliest and longest one we’ll ever walk on. There will be days when the questions overwhelm us and the fears threaten to destroy. There will be moments when we feel like we’ve wandered too far or done too much. Phil Wickham
Phil Wickham raised in Southern California with his siblings and parents who were worship leaders at their church. Wickham at 13 began leading worship after feeling the need to make faith his own. After graduating from Calvary Christian School in Vista, California, Wickham decided to pursue a career in music. Throughout his career, Wickham has released several albums and attention-grabbing singles. Some of his greatest hits include “Living Hope,” “This is Amazing Grace,” and “What a beautiful name.” As a result Wickham was nominated for two Grammy Awards, an Amercian Music Award, a Billboard Music Award and sixteen Dove Awards four of which he won! Wickham continues to release powerful music that many of you probably sing during worship on Sundays, as a result his latest single, I Believe, is already gearing up to be another fan favorite.

Conclusion
When the weight of the world and all its negativity gets you down, you can turn to the hope of Jesus Christ always and in all ways.
