Every day brings new challenges and joys into our lives. Some days are easier, and some are harder. However, both the easy and the hard days also give us new opportunities to seek after God. As you drive through the changing season of summer to fall, keep your dial tuned here to KAMB. You’re sure to hear great music like Fall On Me by NEEDTOBREATHE.
NEEDTOBREATHE first began when brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart performed their music locally in Seneca, South Carolina. After college, the pair joined their talents with Joe Stillwell and Seth Bolt to form their rock band. The group produced their music independently for a few years before gaining recognition from Lava Records in 2005. The band recorded their first studio album in the UK after signing with additional labels. Since then, NEEDTOBREATHE has released 9 albums and received 15 GMA Dove Awards. The band has also appeared as guests on most network television shows, been nominated for both Billboard and Grammy Awards, and experienced an increase in fans during the pandemic.
The band’s success speaks to their lyrical and musical expertise as well as their hearts for God. For nearly two decades, NEEDTOBREATHE has provided audiences with God-honoring praise songs that have stirred listeners and spoken to their experiences. Their latest hit, Fall On Me, is no different.
Fall On Me speaks to the nature of our relationship with God and how He cares for us through every circumstance. The Lord is our one constant even when everything around us collapses. With Him, we don’t have to live under our fear, stay in isolation, or question our self-worth. God is never going to banish us from His presence or leave us to face our hardships alone. In Fall On Me, NEEDTOBREATHE redirects our attention from our circumstances to our Savior. Because of Jesus, we don’t have to walk alone. He’s the one who speaks truth over us, the one who covers us in light, and the one who catches us when we fall. Whether you have people to support you or a safe place to turn to, Jesus is always ready to step in with you.

You were there to pick me up And tell me I was good enough It doesn't matter what I've done You pull me closer The highs and lows and in-betweens You're the one that's there for me When I hurt and when I bleed You make it better You make it better You will always be You will always be The one that I can call The safest place to fall For me When I can't stand When I can't stand You always find the best in me The time is hiding underneath Every insecurity That I can't cover I can leave them at the door You never need me to be more Than who I am if I am yours And I am yours now I am yours now You will always be You will always be The one that I can call The safest place to fall For me You will always be You will always be The one that I can call The safest place to fall For me When you feel a little lost now Don't remember who you are now You can run into my arms You can fall, you can fall on me I ain't ever gonna leave you So don't keep another secret Oh, your tears aren't a weakness You can fall, you can fall on me When you feel a little lost now Don't remember who you are now You can run into my arms You can fall, you can fall on me I ain't ever gonna leave you So don't keep another secret Oh, your tears aren't a weakness You can fall, you can fall on me You will always be You will always be The one that I can call The safest place to fall For me You will always be You will always be The one that I can call The safest place to fall For me When I can't stand When I can't stand
Our God is the one being in our life that we don’t have to hide from. He already knows the struggle, the pain, the fear. He waits for all of us to turn to Him in surrender and to give our circumstances over. As NEEDTOBREATHE sings in Fall On Me, we can run into His arms because He will always be there to catch us. Whether you’re in a season of great joy or deep sorrow, our Lord is near and He’s got you.

Here at KAMB we pray that you are encouraged by the music we play. More than that we pray that Jesus speaks to you through the words and the message in the songs. Whether it’s the right song at the right time, or a spontaneous dance party with your kids, KAMB is there wherever you are. So, keep your radios tuned into KAMB and be listening for Ben Fuller’s latest hit, If I Got Jesus.
Fuller grew up in Vermont on his family Dairy, while working the farm with his father he passed the time by singing. He would sing classic country songs as he witnessed first hand the hard work and dedication it took to run a farm. While life continued on from the farm to college the singing never stopped, and he even learned to play guitar along the way! Music has changed Ben Fuller’s life for the better, as he struggled in life. He had some addictions, some bad relationships, and lost some close friends to drug use. This shifted Fuller’s outlook on life and he was motivated to change, so he moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a country singer in late 2018. While he was in Nashville some friends invited him to church, and as he walked the halls into the 3,000 people-filled auditorium, Fuller knew one day he would sing “that kind of music” for the rest of his life. Today, Ben Fuller lives a completely sober life, while sharing his story filled with hope, mercy, and grace. Fuller now turns his testimony into songs. His mission now is to share his story with the world and all who are ready to listen!
Throughout life you are going to encounter struggles, pain, and loss. If I Got Jesus is a song that reminds us that with Jesus, those struggles you face are always easier because He will carry you through them. In the Bible we read many stories of people with hardships, or sickness, and when they found Jesus they were transformed, some simply by the touch of his garment. Fuller sings, “I’ve seen weakness turn to strength; I’ve seen failures met with grace; And it’s not from what I’ve done, it’s Christ in me.” The message If I Got Jesus sends is one of hope and faith. When you listen I pray you find hope in the words and message being sung.

I've had a dollar to my name I've had friends that walked away And I've even lost myself a time or two There were bridges crossed and burned But through all the wreckage I have learned There is one thing that I can never lose If I've got Jesus I've got all that I could ever need Take the world away from me And I'll be ok If I've got Jesus There's a hope that's living deep inside A joy that I could never hide And a safe place to fall If I've got Jesus I got it all Mmm... I've seen weakness turn to strength I've seen failures met with grace And it's not from what I've done, it's Christ in me A miracle I can't explain Oh, He's given me His name I'm the richest man that I could ever be If I've got Jesus I've got all that I could ever need Take the world away from me And I'll be ok If I've got Jesus There's a hope that's living deep inside A joy that I could never hide And a safe place to fall If I've got Jesus I got it all Oh oh Someday that trumpet's gonna sound And the King of heaven will ride upon the clouds, coming down I'll hit my knees, oh Lord, then sings my soul I'm going home If I've got Jesus I've got all that I could ever need Take the world away from me And I'll be ok If I've got Jesus There's a hope that's living deep inside A joy that I could never hide And a safe place to fall If I've got Jesus I got it all If I've got Jesus I got it all Mmm... Mmm...
The hardships we may face are not going to miraculously get better without faith. The amount of stress and time we can waste trying to fix our life ourselves will always come up void, BUT, if you’ve got Jesus He will always see you through.

Cochren & Co. first began when Michael Cochren and some friends got together and started a band. The group traveled together and played music at different venues across the country. Cochren & Co. still consists of a group of friends but now also includes Michael Cochren’s wife Leah. Since their initial formation, Cochren & Co. have released multiple top hit singles and received a GMA Dove Award nomination. The band’s debut album with Gotee Records released in 2021 and their music received further recognition from Billboard and GRAMMY.com. Cochren & Co. were also invited to appear on the Grand Ole Opry stage in June 2023. With all these great achievements already tackled, Cochren & Co. are sure to continue their success as they glorify God through their inspiring music. Their latest release, Parking Lot, will touch the hearts of listeners everywhere as we are invited to remember our testimonies.
It can be really easy to believe that every salvation story is better or prettier than our own. All of us have heard powerful testimonies about people hearing God’s voice, being miraculously healed, or immediately turning from addiction. In Parking Lot, we’re all reminded that the miraculous still happens in small moments and unexpected places, too. Just as many experience dramatic interventions, many experience quiet ones. No matter where your first encounter with the Lord was, that moment of connection is significant. Parking Lot draws attention to that intimacy with God.
It’s in the quiet moments when God speaks the loudest. He knows when the best time to act is, and He knows exactly how to transform a simple moment into a life-defining one. For Michael Cochren, that moment happened in a parking lot while he was listening to the radio. In the unlikeliest of places, God got personal with Cochren just like He does with all of us. No testimony looks exactly like another’s, but all of them lead back to the same result: relationship with God. Whether it’s in the middle of a storm or the middle of a Parking Lot, God meets all of us exactly when we need Him to.

It wasn't where I thought we'd meet Outside of a dorm room on Franklin Street With tears in my eyes in the driver's seat That's just the place God came for me It was a still small voice On a Tuesday night Like You were right there with me On the passenger side You turned that car Into a mountain top Oh, I met Jesus in a parking lot I ran from You for quite a while But You called out in love to this wayward child You didn't wait at the altar for me to walk the aisle You grabbed my heart right through that radio dial It was a still small voice On a Tuesday night Like You were right there with me On the passenger side You turned that car Into a mountain top Oh, I met Jesus in a parking lot Oh, I saw the light in that dashboard glow Oh, threw my hands in the air when You saved my soul It wasn't where I thought we'd meet Outside of a dorm room on Franklin Street It was a still small voice On a Tuesday night Like You were right there with me On the passenger side You turned that car Into a mountain top Oh, I met Jesus in a parking lot It was a still small voice On a Tuesday night Like You were right there with me On the passenger side You turned that car Into a mountain top Oh, I met Jesus in a parking lot Oh
The things we spend our attention on are important. The shows we watch, music we listen to, and things we pursue have the potential to uplift or destroy us. Cochren & Co. illustrate this through their message in Parking Lot. The last thing Michael Cochren expected that night was to encounter the living God. Yet he did: through the radio. This is the kind of story that should make us pause and realize how pivotal our influences are. Stations like KAMB want to point our listeners’ focus back to the Lord during challenging and joyful times. To do that, though, we all have to seek out God even during the struggle.
