Congratulations! You made it to Giving Tuesday! Black Friday and Cyber Monday were all about getting those presents to give, celebrating sales and discounts to complete our shopping lists in time for Christmas Day. Giving Tuesday was created ten years ago as a global movement, encouraging people to donate to their favorite non-profit organizations.
KAMB is a registered and recognized non-profit organization; we count on listeners to financially care for this ministry. If we may, before you make a gift to KAMB or to any organization, you may want to pause and reflect for a moment on why you’re making your gift. Optimist and author, Simon Sinek said, “People don’t buy what you do. They buy why you do it.” In other words, there’s a reason you give the gifts you do.
The Bible reminds us that our outward behavior reflects and projects what is in our hearts. Expressing our gratitude to others through giving our time, treasure, and talents come from a heart transformed by God to offer ourselves as living sacrifices. The Apostle John puts it this way: God “sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9).
As for Giving Tuesday, KAMB is immeasurably grateful for everyone who listens to our music and programming, prays for our team, and financially donates to ensure our budget needs are met. Thank you for giving your gift to KAMB to reach and bless thousands more with the hope and peace found only in Christ.
