The Christmas song by Passion – Grace Of God With Us, sums up the purpose of Christmas. The Prophet Isaiah foretold the coming Messiah would be the Wonderful Counselor, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He was to be Emmanuel, God With Us. And He is! First, we will briefly introduce you to Passion. Then we will discuss the meaning behind the words of the song, Grace Of God With Us, and watch the video. Finally, we will delve into the scriptures fulfilled in Christ and touched on in this beautiful song.
Passion has been around since 1995 and was founded by Louie and Shelley Giglio. Passion is a ministry to young people, 18-25, whose lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. They are “..committed to leading people towards renewed intimacy with God and fresh encounters of worship.” Throughout the years, you have heard many popular artists who recorded and performed with Passion including Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Crowder. Currently, Passion is led by Kristian Stanfill, Brett Younker, and Melodie Malone. You should recognize “Glorious Day,” “How Great Is Our God,” “God Of This City,” “One Thing Remains,” “There’s Nothing That Our God Can’t Do,” “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord),” and the current Christmas single, “Grace Of God With Us.” You can learn more about Passion including tour dates on their website, https://passionmusic.com/.
Christmas is so much more than presents and decorations. To understand the significance of a baby in a manger, you must understand that this babe is Christ. He is God with us! God the Son, Jesus, became a man to reconcile us to God the Father. Because of His sinless life, death, and resurrection, we are made right before God. He did this for all mankind. This is God’s undeserved favor or grace. First, you must realize and confess your sins to God. This is what we call repentance. Then accept His sacrifice that paid the price for your sins. After that, you will experience His forgiveness. Now you are reborn into the life that you were meant to live. Welcome to the family. Now the grace of God is with you!
Watch the following video and listen to the song by Passion – Grace Of God With Us featuring Chidima.
Wonderful And wise in counsel Forever mighty God Precious Father Everlasting Blessed Prince of Peace CHORUS Glory to God In the highest Jesus our Savior The grace of God with us The kings of earth Rest on Your shoulders You rule on David’s throne Your kingdom here Is now established Christ our Lord of Lords CHORUS Born that we Might know forgiveness Born that we should live With joy and hope And expectation Our King will come again CHORUS
For to us a child is born: Isaiah 9:6
God with us: Matthew 1:23
He is coming back: John 14:3, Revelation 1:7
In conclusion, Christmas is about so much more than gifts and decorations. The exciting truth is that God is with us, (those who accept Him as their Savior). Make this your best Christmas ever, by accepting the Grace of God With Us!

Is this Christmas difficult for you? Perhaps you have suffered a loss? You are not alone! KAMB is featuring a song by Cain – Wonderful. Do you feel sadness even through the joy and laughter of the family gathering at Christmas? Then you need to hear Wonderful by CAIN. In this post you will learn about Cain, listen to the song, and read the lyrics. You will also see that we need Emmanuel -God with us!
CAIN is a trio of siblings, Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain. The were raised in Alabama, kids of pastors. They have been singing together since they were young. CAIN’s recent entrance into the CCM scene has been a big hit. Provident Label Group signed CAIN for their debut project, Rise Up. You probably heard the first single, Rise Up (Lazarus) on KAMB. Recently, the song, Yes He Can has been a favorite on the radio. We invite you to learn more about CAIN on their website, caintheband.com. But wait, there’s more!
The story behind the song, Wonderful, comes from the book of Isaiah. As Madison Cain Johnson says, “Before anything else, he was called a Wonderful Counselor. And that is the tenderness of Christmas all wrapped up. Before He was Mighty, he helps us!” Steven Curtis Chapman performs with them in the video. Chapman explains that the first Christmas after the tragic loss of his daughter, Maria, was when he first really connected with the idea of a Wonderful Counselor because he was desperate for one. Taylor Cain Matz expresses their hope that you will experience Jesus as a Wonderful Counselor.
We hope you will enjoy the song and the music video by CAIN – Wonderful [feat. Steven Curtis Chapman].
Gathered round the table So much to be thankful for It’s Christmas Oh how I’ve missed this Through the joy and laughter You can feel the sadness Cause this Christmas Everyone’s not with us It’s the time of year When happiness and cheer Won’t be enough to get me through the night I need a CHORUS Wonderful Counselor The Mighty God, The Prince of Peace Who’s strong enough to carry me Emmanuel God with us The One who’s love will never end Oh, Jesus can you make this season Wonderful Almighty in a manger Told us He’d be no stranger To all our sorrow All the hurt we’ll ever know So let these gifts remind us how Love came down to find us Wonder of the ages The life, the truth, the way He is our CHORUS (Wonderful) For unto us a child is born (Wonderful) For unto us a son is given (Wonderful) And He will live And He will die To conquer death and bring us life Forever He will be our CHORUS

We would like you to meet KAMB Artist – Jordan St. Cyr. Jordan and his wife, Heather, live in Niverville, Manitoba in Canada with their four children. Their youngest daughter, Emery, was born with a rare condition, Sturge-Weber. Walking through this with her has not been easy, but they have learned to trust God through the challenges and victories. His song, Fires, is inspired by their experience with Emery who is now 3 years old. You can follow Jordan on Facebook (see the link at the bottom of this article) and check out his website, jordastcyr.com
Jordan St. Cyr has been writing poems and lyrics since he was 14 years old. He developed his musical talents as a singer and guitarist while serving his church as the worship leader. It was in this position that he began songwriting. At 19 he enrolled in discipleship training school at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Montana. As part of this training, Jordan served for 2 months in New York City with the Salvation Army’s post 9/11 relief efforts. After returning home, he released his first project of songs inspired by the experience. Over the next few years, he continued to serve as a worship leader, singer/songwriter and even front-man to a rock ‘n roll band he formed with his brothers.
Performing in clubs, coffee houses, churches and youth groups, KAMB Artist – Jordan St. Cyr developed a passion to offer people hope and meaningful connection. Because of this, his recent entry into Contemporary Christian music is a calling, not a career. This passion is evident in the lyrics to his songs and clearly visible when he performs.
KAMB Artist – Jordan St. Cyr has released two hit singles, Fires and Weary Traveler, that can be heard on Celebration Radio KAMB. The newest single we are excited about is his Christmas song, Rejoice. He co-wrote this song with Mark Campbell and Tony Wood for BEC Recordings. Learn about this and more Christmas Music on the KAMB Christmas Festival of Music.
“May this song speak into the wonder of our Savior’s birth – it’s a story that we’ve heard many times over, but to truly know that Jesus changed everything… now that calls for us to REJOICE!”
