About CAIN

CAIN is a trio of siblings, Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain.  The were raised in Alabama, kids of pastors. They have been singing together since they were young. CAIN’s recent entrance into the CCM scene has been a big hit. Provident Label Group signed CAIN for their debut project, Rise Up.  You probably heard the first single, Rise Up (Lazarus) on KAMB. The Story Behind the Song, Wonderful

The story behind the song, Wonderful, comes from the book of Isaiah. As Madison Cain Johnson says, “Before anything else, he was called a Wonderful Counselor. And that is the tenderness of Christmas all wrapped up. Before He was Mighty, he helps us!”  Steven Curtis Chapman performs with them in the video. Chapman explains that the first Christmas after the tragic loss of his daughter, Maria, was when he first really connected with the idea of a Wonderful Counselor because he was desperate for one.  Taylor Cain Matz expresses their hope that you will experience Jesus as a Wonderful Counselor.
