Daniel Doss has been on the music scene since the early 2000’s and has collaborated with so many artists and producers in the industry, it may be easier to name those he hasn’t worked with. He has chosen to use his real life experiences and the experiences of those around him to write his songs. He often writes of brokenness, but always points to the way that God is working in every circumstance we face. NEEDTOBREATHE

NEEDTOBREATHE has been a long-time favorite on Celebration Radio. We are excited to feature them on our KAMB Artist Profile.

History

In 2001, Bo and Bear Rineheart along with Joe Stillwell and Seth Bolt formed NEEDTOBREATHE. It was then that they independently released their first album, The Feature. A handful of albums followed and got the attention of Lava Records, owned by Universal Music Group and the band signed in 2005. They went on to sign with Atlantic and Sparrow records and took a trip over to the UK to record their first studio album.

They have gone on to produce 8 albums and have won several GMA Dove Awards. Lead singer, guitar and piano player, Bear Rineheart’s voice is unmistakable. Seth Bolt plays bass and background vocals. Josh Lovelace plays the keyboard and provides background vocals as well. Randall Harris is on drums and percussion and Tyler Burkum plays guitar. Bear’s brother, Bo Rineheart, has recently left the band.

KAMB Artist – Sidewalk Profits

Our KAMB Artist Profile features a band you’ve heard many times on KAMB! When two friends met at Anderson University over eight years ago, they had no idea what the Lord had in store for them! They have stayed true to the original calling that the Lord placed in their hearts and that has made all the difference. They attribute the level of success that they have achieved to the “ever-present hand of the Lord” upon them.

The band takes pride in their family – feel shows and performances. Lead singer, David Frey puts it simply, “We love performing, But we also love the people we perform for.” The band recalls playing for an audience of three as well as the opportunity to join dozens of other artists. They’ve worked hard and persevered through many ups and downs always believing in the promises that the Lord kept keeping!
