The Road Ahead

55 years young, KAMB’s best days are yet ahead. That’s the belief of retiring General Manager, Tim Land. He announced his plans for retirement to the Board of Directors and Staff last month, with the official announcement coming today. Tim has been at KAMB for 41 years, with the last 29 years serving as General Manager.
The Blessings of Life Impacting Ministry
Reflecting on his time at KAMB, “One of the greatest blessings of serving here is hearing the stories of how listeners’ lives have been impacted through the music and programming of Celebration Radio; hearing how people have come to the Lord, hearing how God has used this daily ministry to encourage people to grow in their walk of faith with Him has been incredible!”
KAMB’s Board Chair, Christopher Grant, commented,
“Tim has been a valuable part of KAMB/Celebration Radio. His commitment to the Lord, the listener, and the Staff have blessed this ministry greatly. The team is grateful for his leadership and looks forward to what the Lord has for him in the next season of his journey.”
Looking forward to what God can do through You
That next season for Tim includes work around home, travel, family, and serving at his church. To the listening family of KAMB, Tim remarked,
“Paul’s exhortation in Colossians 3:1-4 communicates how important it is for us as believers to intentionally “set our hearts and minds on the Lord” and live lives that bring glory to God. Let me encourage you to use KAMB as a wonderfully helpful resource to keep your daily focus on Jesus. Explore the celebrationradio.com website for practical resources that are available from the various ministries that you hear every day on KAMB. Look for and take each opportunity God gives you to tell others about this ministry. It’s a great way to be an effective witness for Him by telling others about the music and programming we share. God can use you to help many others come to know Jesus personally and be encouraged to follow Him faithfully by you simply inviting them to listen, to “taste and see” what the Lord has to offer.”
Stay Tuned
Tim’s last day in the office is June 30, 2023. As for KAMB after Tim’s retirement, Grant went on to say,
“KAMB/Celebration Radio continues to inspire people to know Jesus personally and challenge them to follow Him faithfully through the creative use of interactive media. With Tim’s steady leadership we have seen opportunities to expand our reach and impact. It is exciting to consider the future of KAMB as the Lord leads. I am pleased to say, ‘Stay tuned’.”
