A Man’s Best Friend

Recently, KAMB heard from Mike. Mike dedicated his gift to our ministry to his little dog, Benji. Mike said, “Benji motivated me to make this donation. I know KAMB preaches from the heart. I challenge others who have lost a pet to contribute.”
With every gift there’s a story. Pet owners appreciate the bond they have with their furry friends. Often, a pet will cuddle their owner when they sense their owner is despondent or sad. Other times, the pet is a companion on a walk or while reading a book. Still other times, a pet is the only one who will listen when life just isn’t making sense.
Mike’s donation came in gratefulness to God for providing him with a four-legged friend, Benji. Mike’s reason may seem unique, but KAMB hears from listeners who give for all kinds of reasons. The number of different reasons is huge because each person has their own story, and because God works in an infinite number of ways. The Bible says, “the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life” (Matthew 7:14), but God works in ways beyond our understanding (Job 36:26, Romans 11:33).
In this season of thanksgiving, we have much for which we should be grateful. KAMB is especially appreciative for each person who listens to our music and programming, who prays for us, and who gives to continue the work God is doing through us. Together, listeners like you and our team encourage tens of thousands of people each day. Thank you, and thank God for the fur babies he gives who encourage us to keep our hearts centered on Jesus.
In honor of Benji…
