Phil Wickham and I Believe

Phil Wickham

Half of 2023 is over, and August will be filled with school, schedule changes and chaos. Let KAMB ease your worries while you get back to school ready and enjoy uplifting music and programs, now if someone can tell the fall weather to join the program! As you go about your week, keep your ears open for I Believe by Phil Wickham!

Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham raised in Southern California with his siblings and parents who were worship leaders at their church. Wickham at 13 began leading worship after feeling the need to make faith his own. After graduating from Calvary Christian School in Vista, California, Wickham decided to pursue a career in music. Throughout his career, Wickham has released several albums and attention-grabbing singles. Some of his greatest hits include “Living Hope,” “This is Amazing Grace,” and “What a beautiful name.” As a result Wickham was nominated for two Grammy Awards, an Amercian Music Award, a Billboard Music Award and sixteen Dove Awards four of which he won! Wickham continues to release powerful music that many of you probably sing during worship on Sundays, as a result his latest single, I Believe, is already gearing up to be another fan favorite.

I Believe

I Believe is Phil Wickham’s new released single from his upcoming album of the same name.

“There are so many searching for truth, meaning, belonging, purpose, hope, fulfillment, peace and healing,” Wickham passionately stated about his inspiration for ‘I Believe.‘ “I have found all of these things and more in the person of Jesus Christ. I think the world is desperate to see and hear people full of hope, joy, love and confidence telling their stories about how Jesus saved and changed their lives; about how he is the best thing they have ever found, and he will be the best thing anyone will ever find. My song, “I Believe,” was written to shout about Jesus from the rooftops. Something that we as believers can unify together on and say with joy in our hearts that we believe in the mighty name of Jesus! I can’t wait to sing this one with you all. I’ve never put more time, effort and prayer into a project, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all when it releases on Aug. 18!”

Wickham uses his song to remind us that believing Jesus is our foundation is the only way to go through life, with peace, love, and happiness! I Believe reminds us not to be ashamed of the gospel. That Jesus Christ is the one who saved our lives and loves us unconditionally. Wickham does a fantastic job of mixing worship music, with an upbeat tempo. It makes you want to dance and shout from the top of your lungs! I Believe is sure to be at the top of you playlist while you are on your morning run, cleaning the house, or jamming out in your car, tune in to KAMB and blast Wickham’s newest hit!

Lyrics

I believe there is one salvation
One doorway that leads to life
One redemption
One confession
I believe in the name of Jesus Christ
I believe in the crucifixion
By His blood I have been set free
I believe in the resurrection
Hallelujah His life is death's defeat
All praise to God the Father
All praise to Christ the Son
All praise to the Holy Spirit
Our God has overcome
The King who was and is and evermore will be
In Jesus mighty name I believe
I believe I believe
I believe in the hope of heaven
He's preparing a place for me
Far beyond what hearts imagine
Ears have heard or eyes have seen
I believe that a day is coming
He's returning to claim His bride
Light the altar
Keep it burning
See the Lamb who rose a roaring Lion
All praise to God the Father
All praise to Christ the Son
All praise to the Holy Spirit
Our God has overcome
The King who was and is and evermore will be
In Jesus mighty name I believe
Oh I believe in You
No I'll never be ashamed
Of the gospel of Jesus Christ
How could I ever walk away
From the One who saved my life
No I'll never be ashamed
Of the gospel of Jesus Christ
How could I ever walk away
From the One who saved my life
Oh no I'll never be ashamed
Of the gospel of Jesus Christ
How could I ever walk away
From the One who saved my life
All praise to God the Father
All praise to Christ the Son
All praise to the Holy Spirit
Our God has overcome
The King who was and is and evermore will be
In Jesus mighty name I believe
All praise to God Our Father
All praise to Christ the Son
All praise to the Holy Spirit
Our God has overcome
The King who was and is and evermore will be
In Jesus mighty name I believe
In Jesus mighty name I believe
I believe I believe
I believe I believe

Conclusion

When the weight of the world and all its negativity gets you down, you can turn to the hope of Jesus Christ always and in all ways. No matter what we may be going through if we believe and praise him we can overcome anything. As Phil Wickham reminds us, no matter what we can keep going because, in Jesus might name WE Believe.

Brandon Lake

As the summer heat waves roll across California, we hope the music at KAMB rolls across your hearts. What better way to relax away from the sun than worshiping our Lord? (We couldn’t think of one, either!) So, do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to reflect on the Lord’s faithfulness no matter where you are today. One of the best ways to do this is to listen to Praise You Anywhere by Brandon Lake.

Brandon Lake

Brandon Lake was born and raised in South Carolina and currently lives there with his family while serving as a worship leader. He released his first studio albums in 2015 and 2016, but his popularity exploded through his collaborations. Lake’s first co-written song that gained traction was “This Is a Move” which he released with Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The project landed him the Dove Award for song of the year in 2019. Since then, Lake has worked with other artists such as Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, Brooke Ligertwood, and others. Each opportunity has resulted in powerful worship full of heartfelt praise and stirring lyrics. Some of his most popular songs include “Graves into Gardens,” “Talking to Jesus,” and “Honey in the Rock.” He was nominated for several Dove Awards and received two of them following his work on these songs and more. Lake has also released his own albums, House of Miracles, and his latest single, Praise You Anywhere.

Praise You Anywhere

Praise You Anywhere powerfully reminds us to give God our praise in every circumstance. It can be really easy to offer God our joy in worship when things are going well. But Lake reminds us that we are to set our minds towards praise even when we don’t want to. His message is immediately strengthened through the opening lyrics in Praise You Anywhere. Lake references famous Bible stories of great of peril and faith as moments of greatest praise. Whether we find ourselves in the fire like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in a lions’ den like Daniel, or before a giant like David, we are to praise our Lord. Most of us haven’t faced such dramatic threats as these, but we have all battled against confusion, disappointment, and heartache.

Rather than using his song to chastise the believer, though, Lake uses it to encourage. Praise You Anywhere pulls us away from the shadow of our miseries and into the light of God’s faithfulness. It reminds us to position our hearts in praise during the best of times and the worst of times because our God is Lord over them all. Our seasons vary and some of our joys may fade, but our God never does. Instead of focusing on the bitterness of life, we should fix our eyes upon Him and His unchanging nature. When we do, we remember all the good we’ve ever seen our God do and say we’ll Praise You Anywhere.

Lyrics

Sometimes you've gotta dance through the darkness
Sing through the fire
Praise when it don't make sense
Sometimes you've gotta stare down the giant
Worship from the lion's den
Sometimes you've gotta shout it from the mountain
Louder in the valley
Trusting that He's gonna get you there
Sometimes you've gotta welcome the wonder
Wait for the answer
Worship with your hands in the air
I'll praise You anywhere
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
He is worthy, yes, He is worthy of all of the praise
Sometimes you've gotta praise in the prison
Cry out to heaven
Shout it 'til the doors swing wide
Sometimes you've gotta stand on your shackles
Brave in the battle
Worship with your hands held high
I'll praise You anywhere
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
He is worthy, yes, He is worthy of all of the—
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
He is worthy, yes, He is worthy of all of the praise
Faithful all my life
Blessings day and night
Countless reasons why
I'll praise You anywhere
Every promise kept
Goodness every step
Each and every breath
I'll praise You anywhere
Faithful all my life
Blessings day and night
Countless reasons why
I'll praise You anywhere
Every promise kept
Goodness every step
Each and every breath
I'll praise You anywhere
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise in the highest
He is worthy, yes, He is worthy of all of the praise
Oh, I'll praise You anywhere
Oh, mountain, oh, valley
I know that You're with me there
I'll praise You anywhere

Terrian and Big God

Terrian

The summer sun is heating things up outside and we’re matching that energy through your speakers here at KAMB! As vacation plans, family visits, and packed schedules call for your attention, we hope to provide daily encouragement to everyone. Whether you’re heading off to work or the beach, tune in to check out KAMB’s latest hits! One of our favorites right now is Big God by Terrian.

Terrian

Terrian’s musical journey began in Memphis, Tennessee where she connected with the organization AngelStreet as a senior in high school. AngelStreet is a non-profit that provides musical development opportunities to young women with limited access to such artistic growth. On her website, Terrian writes, “I believe the Lord uses music to connect us to Him and to one another.” Terrian lived this belief through her time at AngelStreet and continues to do so now as a CCM artist. Since releasing “God with Us” in 2019, Terrian has recorded several other songs and toured with artists Cochren & Co. and TobyMac. Because of her life-changing experiences through AngelStreet, Terrian encourages people to support the organization’s mission to serve young women. She has also successfully reflected the Lord’s blessings in her life through her music. Terrian’s latest single is her song Big God.

Big God

Big God is an upbeat reminder that nothing we face can overcome our God. Each of us battles against our own troubles and fears, but we all have the same God watching over us. There have been many times when I’ve faced something difficult and nearly forgotten who I have on my side. Before my fear wins against me, though, I’m always reminded of the good things God has done in my life. I’m sure all of you have your own stories of how God delivered you from situations beyond your control, too. These are the things we must remember when we doubt our Big God.

When we walk with the Lord, we can have a new kind of confidence about our position in the world. Rather than shying away from the things that hurt and threaten us, we can face them boldly. We can take them to our Father and lay them down in surrender as we wait for His direction. All of it comes back to us remembering that our Big God is on our side.

Lyrics

Yeah, yeah, yeah
With foes on my left and fears on my right
They think that I'm all by myself in this fight
But they do not know the infinite size
Of the God who's by my side (hey)
Under fire, but my goliaths
Standing in the shadow of the Almighty
I ain't lying (no, no)
Just testifying
Man, I'm talking 'bout a big God, big God
When trouble comes around the way
Only remedy for big odds is a big God (big God)
Ain't nobody gonna shake my faith
No, I'm not afraid to throw my hands up in praise
For the times that He pulled me through
I'm counting on a big God that they can't stop (can't stop)
He's a big God
Why in the world would I worry away
When I know that He holds my world in His hands?
The monsters I face don't make me afraid
When I know that I'm standing right next to Him
Man, I'm talking 'bout a big God, big God (big God)
When trouble comes around the way
Only remedy for big odds is a big God (big God)
Ain't nobody gonna shake my faith
No, I'm not afraid to throw my hands up in praise
For the times that He pulled me through
I'm counting on a big God that they can't stop (big God)
He's a big God
(Stronger) than your brokenness
(Deeper) than your dreams not seen yet
(Greater) than your greatest fear
(Bigger) He's so much bigger
(Stronger) when I couldn't get up
(Deeper) I could always feel Your love
(Greater) You're picking me up
(Bigger) I could always feel Your love
Man, I'm counting on a big God, big God (big God)
When trouble comes around the way
Only remedy for big odds is a big God (big God)
Ain't nobody gonna shake my faith (no)
No, I'm not afraid to throw my hands up in praise
For the times that He pulled me through (pulled me through)
No, I'm not afraid of the things that I face
'Cause I know what I've seen Him do
I'm counting on a big God
That they can't stop (big God)
He's a big God (oh yeah)
You're a big God, You're a big God (big God, big God)
Hey, yeah (big God, big God)
I know we got a (big God, big God)
Yeah, we got a big God

Christian Paul

Summer is here and new music is in the air! All of us here at KAMB love sharing new artists with our listening family, and Christian Paul is no exception. His song Yes I Am is an inspiring reminder for all of us to live our faith boldly and give God the praise.

Christian Paul

Christian Paul is a new voice to CCM with a well-rounded musical background and vocal history. He began playing multiple instruments at a young age and started singing at 12. Paul’s talents enabled him to land a record deal at 19, but his path shifted dramatically when he met Jesus. Following his transformation, Paul stepped back from his musical pursuits to consider how they may align with his newfound faith. When he was ready to merge the two together, Paul signed a recording deal with Capitol Christian Music Group. Since then, Paul has released a few original songs and is currently working on others. His upbeat and lively manner promises to bring additional joy and hope to Christians everywhere who hear his songs. A recent example of his renewed passion for music is one of his latest releases, Yes I Am.

Yes I Am

Yes I Am is a refreshing offering of what it means to be a living testimony for the Lord. All of us have our own story about how we came to walk with God. Some of us had families who always went to church, some of us stumbled across Him when we weren’t really looking, and some of us walked dark and dangerous roads before we found His light. Regardless of how our testimonies began, the Lord has called each of us to know and follow Him. Christian Paul uses Yes I Am to share about his own experience of becoming a Christian. Paul’s life was completely transformed when he met Jesus, and people have taken notice. Rather than allowing their attention to stay on him, though, Paul uses his life to share about Jesus. Yes I Am reminds us that we are God’s greatest instruments to lead others to Him. The attention we may receive for our faith is for God’s glory, not our own. Because of Him, we can say Yes I Am when others wonder where our joy has come from.

Christian Paul – Yes I Am (Official Music Video)

Lyrics

Hallelujah say Amen
Devil had me in a grave
Jesus told him think again
Hallelujah that’s what I said
Cause I’m a born again, resurrected, sinner been forgiven
Yes I am
Some people tell me they don’t recognize me
They say the man I used to be ain’t here
They wonder how I got this joy and where it’s from
They can’t help but want some, it’s clear
I just tell the story ‘bout the God who set me free
I just tell the story how it makes me wanna sing
Hallelujah say Amen
Devil had me in a grave
Jesus told him think again
Hallelujah that’s what I said
Cause I’m a born again, resurrected, sinner been forgiven
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am
You might be standing there exactly where I was
Scared and lost and on the run
That’s fine (That’s fine)
Cause I’ll introduce you to somebody who can change
Any heart that comes his way
Like He did mine
I just tell the story ‘bout the God who set us free
Hallelujah say Amen
Devil had me in a grave
Jesus told him think again
Hallelujah that’s what I said
Cause I’m a born again, resurrected, sinner been forgiven
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am (Yes I am)
Yes I am
I’ve been bought by the blood
Born again
Yes I am
I’ve been washed in the water
Born again
Yes I am
I’ve been bought by the blood
Born again
Yes I am
I’ve been washed in the water
Born again
Yes I am
Hallelujah say Amen
Devil had me in a grave
Jesus told him think again
Hallelujah that’s what I said
Cause I’m a born again, resurrected, sinner been forgiven
Yes I am
