Freedom Festival & 5k Fun Run/Walk

This is our 8th annual event. We do this event to raise awareness about human trafficking and what the Set Free Movement is doing to combat it and to raise funds for this cause. This year we are also raising funds to support Turlock Pregnancy Center, who work with vulnerable populations. We are offering an in person event as well as a virtual event for those people who are out of the area or who want to participate but aren’t able to attend. This is a fun run so anyone can participate. We have had people of all fitness levels and ages participate. Some run, some jog, some walk- everyone is encouraged to come. The in person event takes place as part of our Freedom Festival that includes pop-up, food, raffle, kids area, and more. The route is a flat route on roads through nice neighborhoods and along a trail next to a canal. The virtual event can take place any where and any time during the month of September. You choose the time and location. It can be on a treadmill, through a park, in your neighborhood, along a trail, etc. This is a fun run so anyone can partcipate. We encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to join in the fun and go at your own pace. All registered participants will receive a drawstring bag, t-shirt, and other goodies while supplies last. In person participants are eligible for awards for the overall fastest male and female as well as fastest male and female in each of our age categories.
