Josiah Queen

Spring has arrived at Celebration Radio and with it we welcome a new voice to our airwaves.

He began his musical journey leading worship and writing his own music at the tender age of 9 years old, but like many in the new generation of musical artist has found a loyal following from his social media platforms.

Using God’s Word as the foundation for his lyrics accompanied by the young, spirited vibe heard in his music, it’s no real surprise to see his fanbase grow substantially with each posted Tik-Tok video.

… But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. -Luke 15:20 (CSB)

The now 21-year-old is based out of Tampa Florida currently plans to travel the world with his wife, Trinity, anxiously anticipating where God will lead them in their full-time ministry. Josiah Queen has a name as unique as his sound and we are proud to introduce you to him and his first radio single “The Prodigal”.

The Prodigal

It’s sure to catch your ear with its laid back, folk-ish slant and well thought out lyrics grounded in Scripture that will peak your mind’s eye and touch your heart. I wouldn’t call it typical for Contemporary Christian Music, but it still finds a nice place to settle down and fit right into our playlist here on Celebration Radio.

“We’ve all been at a point in our lives at one time where we tried to find satisfaction in money or fame or all of those things, but the truth is that nothing else can satisfy the desires in our heart except for being in the presence of God, If you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, this song’s for you. “  -Josiah

Lyrics

Songwriters: Jared Condon / Josiah Queen
VS1:
I've been sick and tired
Of being sick and tired
Searching far and wide
For something that feels real
I need something real
CHORUS:
I don't want to lose my soul
Chasing after things that don't lead
Me straight to you
I'm lost in the feeling
That I ain't from this world
Going Back to Eden
Ain't gonna be easy
But it leads me straight to you
Now I'm running home
Like the Prodigal
VS2:
I don't need the money
I don't want the fame
I don't want what I can't take
With me in the grave
CHORUS: (x2)
I don't want to lose my soul
Chasing after things that don't lead
Me straight to you
I'm lost in the feeling
That I ain't from this world
Going Back to Eden
Ain't gonna be easy
But it leads me straight to you
Now I'm running home
Like the Prodigal
TAG:
I'm lost in the feeling
that I ain't from this world
The Going Back to Eden
Ain't gonna be easy
But it leads me straight to you
Now I'm running home
Like the Prodigal
Lost in the feeling
That I ain't from this world
The Going Back to Eden
Ain't gonna be easy
But it leads me straight to you
Now I'm running home
Like the Prodigal
