Central Valley Broadcasting Company, home of Christian AC non-com KAMB, is looking for its next General Manager to lead the broadcast group in its next season of serving the Central Valley and Central Coast of California.

The station is ripe with potential for increased growth, serving a population of 2.5+ million. Those applying for the GM role should be ready and willing to successfully execute the mission and vision of KAMB through the oversight, direction, and evaluation of KAMB employees and resources. Additionally, the GM is responsible to foster a culture that promotes personal, spiritual, and professional growth among KAMB employees and the listeners served by KAMB. At least one third of the GM’s time will be given to cultivating a growing base of donors, business partners, listeners, church/ministry, and community leaders to establish a healthy rapport between KAMB and its markets served.

An applicant must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment, a theology that supports the mission, vision, values, and doctrinal statement of KAMB, strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to inspire people and grow relationships. Experience in management is a must; fundraising and on-air work at a non-com Christian music radio is recommended, but not necessarily essential.
