Happy Monday, everybody! As we enter a new month, all of us at KAMB hope your August is off to a great start. With all the great new artists and music, how could it not be? This week, we want to invite you to take a closer look (and listen!) to Iveth Luna and her song Right On Time.
Iveth Luna
Iveth Luna grew up surrounded by family members in ministry. Her grandfather was a pastor in Mexico, and many of her male relatives were worship leaders. Although Luna began singing in church at the age of 16, it wasn’t until college when she felt the Lord’s call on her life. Luna had always desired to pursue music as a career but hadn’t known how. After recognizing God’s direction, though, Luna trusted Him to get her there.
I actually ended up going to college and getting a business degree, but during my freshman year in college, the Lord spoke to me. I had a crazy encounter with the Lord, and he confirmed what I was supposed to do.

Since then, Luna has strived to write uplifting songs to encourage others through their hard times. She has had her own struggles with depression and knows the pain and isolation it can bring. Because of this, Luna sees her songs as opportunities to share truths about the Lord with her listeners. In an interview with MultiTracks.com, Luna says she always asks, “Lord what do you want your church to know? How do you want to encourage your church? What do you want them to sing?” Whether on her own or in collaboration with other artists, Luna has faithfully poured her heart into her music to achieve this goal. She continues to do so now through her latest single, Right On Time.
Right On Time
Right On Time is a playful, catchy song all about God’s perfect timing in our lives. All of us have felt unseen and unheard at one point or another, maybe even by God. Perhaps a relationship isn’t being healed, an illness won’t go away, or the weight of grief won’t disappear. Whatever it may be, something has left us wondering “Is this ever going to end?” In Right On Time, Iveth Luna reminds us that the Lord’s timing couldn’t come any sooner or later. Our God always shows up right when He needs to.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
– Ecclesiastes 3:11
Not only does God show up Right On Time, but He also has joy to give us in the waiting. To wait on God is the sweetest place any of us could be. It is so difficult to stop grasping for control and to accept that it’s all in His hands anyways. But once we do, the absolute peace and joy of sitting at our Father’s feet are ours. In Isaiah 40:31, the prophet Isaiah even connects our waiting to the renewing of our strength:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run and not be weary,
and they shall walk and not faint.
– Isaiah 40:31
Remember, no matter how discouraged you may feel, our God is always Right On Time.

Lyrics
Right now, want that mountain to move
Right now, want the ocean to part
Right now, God I'm looking for You
And I'm wondering where You are
But why do I worry?
God, I know You haven't failed me yet
Why do I worry?
You prove it over and over again
Every, every, every time
Jesus, You're right on, right on, right on time
Jesus, never been a minute, hour, day
When my God has ever showed up late
'Cause every, every, every time
You're right there, right on time
Like a movie when all hope is lost
And the hero comes and saves the day
That's who You are to me, You're never far from me
Even when I have to wait
So why do I worry?
God, I know you haven't failed me yet
Why do I worry?
You prove it over and over again
Every, every, every time
Jesus, You're right on right on right on time
Jesus, never been a minute, hour, day
When my God has ever showed up late
'Cause every, every, every time
You're right there, right on time
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Got a God who always comes through, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There ain't nothing my God can't do, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Got a God who always comes through, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There ain't nothing my God can't do, yeah
Every, every, every time
Jesus, You're right on right on right on time
Jesus, never been a minute, hour, day
When my God has ever showed up late
'Cause every, every, every time
You're right there, right on time
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Got a God who always comes through, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There ain't nothing my God can't do, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Got a God who always comes through, yeah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There ain't nothing my God can't do, yeah
