KAMB is excited to keep encouraging our listening family as August ends and the new school year begins. As we look for ways to honor God every day, remember that worship music is a great place to start! Among the latest hits at our station you’ll find Walk With Jesus by Consumed By Fire.
Consumed By Fire
Consumed By Fire first began when three brothers decided to create music together. Caleb, Jordan, and Josh Ward were raised in a Christian home with pastoring parents in Oklahoma. As the brothers got older, they developed their musical talents and used their gifts for the Lord. Their parents’ ministry was a large influence in their lives, and they later sought to engage in ministry themselves. Such focus is clear in every song Consumed By Fire releases as they boldly tackle hard truths head on. The Christian walk is messy and full of difficulty, and these brothers are unafraid to talk about it. To live for Christ is to die to oneself daily. This is the message Consumed By Fire seeks to share.
Over the years, Consumed By Fire has released multiple albums and great singles. Their most recent album, however, has driven up their popularity with its raw themes and powerful lyrics. Walk With Jesus is their latest hit and you don’t want to miss it.
If it wasn’t this form of ministry, if it wasn’t music, it would just be something else. Ministry is what we were born to do.

Walk With Jesus
In Walk With Jesus, Consumed By Fire describes the character of Jesus and the reality of choosing His ways over our own. Unlike anything this world can give us, Jesus offers us eternal promises and security. Something spiritual, transformative, and powerful happens when we commit our lives to Christ. Everything that once held value to us shifts. We may still care about those things, but our love for Jesus outweighs them all. Walk With Jesus reminds us of how much better things are when we’re pursuing Him. Every struggle, temptation, and heartache becomes endurable when we walk with our Savior.
Yet, there is an even deeper struggle when we choose to follow Jesus: it isn’t easy. Sometimes the path towards Him is the loneliest and longest one we’ll ever walk on. There will be days when the questions overwhelm us and the fears threaten to destroy. There will be moments when we feel like we’ve wandered too far or done too much. But choosing Jesus will never fail us. Walk With Jesus outlines the hardships of choosing our faith but it also outlines the joy. He loves us more than we’ll ever know. He’ll never leave us. He’s always here to restore us. No matter the hardship, life with Jesus is infinitely better than life without Him.

Lyrics
So many people Trying to fill a void inside So many questions Asking how, asking why I might not have all the answers But I've tasted and I've seen There's a better path with Jesus There's no going back for me I'm gonna live the way He says to live Do what He says to do You can choose whatever road you choose But I'm gonna love the way He says to love Trust the way He says to trust This world alone will never be enough So I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk with Jesus (I’m gonna walk, I’m gonna walk) He's in the leading That's why I follow where He goes He's in restoring All the lost and broken souls He keeps moving rich in mercy He meets us where we are No matter where you've gone No such thing as gone too far I'm gonna live the way He says to live Do what He says to do You can choose whatever road you choose But I'm gonna love the way He says to love Trust the way He says to trust This world alone will never be enough So I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk (I’m gonna walk) I'm gonna walk (I'm gonna walk) I'm gonna walk with Jesus (I’m gonna walk) Though none go with me Still I will follow Though none go with me I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk Though none go with me Still I will follow Though none go with me I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk Though none go with me Still I will follow Though none go with me I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk (Though none go with me) I'm gonna live the way He says to live Do what He says to do You can choose whatever road you choose But I'm gonna love the way He says to love Trust the way He says to trust This world alone will never be enough So I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk I'm gonna walk with Jesus I'm gonna walk with Jesus
