On Celebration Radio KAMB we play songs by Christian artists that encourage listeners to know and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Zach Williams has been a rising star in CCM since the release of his debut album Chain Breaker. KAMB has gladly introduced his music to our listeners over the years, and we are excited to share more about him and his latest single Heart of God.
Before starting his CCM career, Zach Williams first pursued a whirlwind lifestyle of rock n’ roll. He discovered his talent for singing and songwriting in college while healing from an injury and eventually formed a rock band that took a toll on his life. He toured with his band, regularly used drugs and alcohol, lost his first marriage, and strained his second. Williams’ doctor even warned him that he could develop esophageal cancer if something didn’t change. However, it wasn’t until a bandmate started attending church that Williams made those changes. He and his family began attending the same church as his bandmate, and he rededicated his life to Christ.
While his commitment to the Lord was sincere, the transition into living a godly life was a challenge. Williams struggled to uphold his renewed commitments while on the road and ultimately walked away from his rock band. Upon returning home, Williams and his family began a fresh start. After spending six months as their church’s worship leader, he started writing new music for God. After leading a worship service one Sunday, Williams was approached by Jonathan Smith, a music producer and songwriter. After the pair talked, Smith invited Williams to Nashville. The two men were joined by another songwriter, Mia Fieldes, and the song “Chain Breaker” was written.
Around this time, Williams’ wife began sharing her testimony at prisons and encouraged him to do the same. After his first show for prisoners, Williams continued to return and released his six-song EP, Survivor: Live From Harding Prison. His long road back to the Lord and his experiences in both rock and Christian music have only strengthened Williams’ faith and testimony. He has received several Grammy nominations, has won an award for his single “Chain Breaker”, and has now released his second album entitled Rescue Story.
When I gave my life to the Lord, I realized He never left me, even in the dark times. For this new album, the title fits because every song in it has a rescue story. When you’re at your end of the rope, that’s when your rescue story begins. In my case, Jesus has been my rescue story.
Zach Williams
Heart of God is the latest release from Zach Williams’ album Rescue Story. This song is all about shooting down the lies that are too easy to believe and finding the love that God has waiting for us. Through Heart of God, Williams reminds us that God sent Jesus for us. He could have let us rot in our sins, but He offered us a way out instead. While the lies tell us that God could never want us, Williams describes the truth that God specifically came for us. In both song and Spirit, the Heart of God is all about redemption and drawing us closer to our Father.

I know you're hurtin', I can see it in your eyes So pull back the curtain and take off your disguise Whoever told you, you ain't worth the fight The cross tells a story that'll change your mind 'Cause there's only love in the heart of God No room for shame in His open arms There's beauty from ashes, so come as you are And there's only love in the heart of God (Ooh) (Ooh) Come, prodigal children, it's never too late Run home to the Father, let Him clothe you with grace And bury your burdens, break free from your fear Step out of the shadows, there's no judgment here There's only love in the heart of God No room for shame in His open arms There's beauty from ashes, so come as you are And there's only love in the heart of God (Ooh) (Ooh) No, He's not sittin' there shakin' His head Writin' you off, leavin' you lost He's not sittin' there shakin' His head Wishin' He'd never went to that cross He's not sittin' there shakin' His head Writin' you off, leavin' you lost He's not sittin' there shakin' His head He went to that cross, He went to that cross 'Cause He loves you so much Ooh-ooh, yeah There's only love in the heart of God No room for shame in His open arms He makes beauty from ashes, so come as you are (come as you are) 'Cause there's only love in the heart of God (heart of God) No room for shame in His open arms There's beauty from ashes, so come as you are (come as you are) 'Cause there's only love in the heart of God (heart of God) 'Cause there's only love in the heart of God
John 3:16 God sent His Son to die for us because He loves us.

Here at KAMB, we hope that our listeners are encouraged through every song that we broadcast. With a wide range of artists and new music constantly rotating through our station, a song or two may go unnoticed by our listening family. However, I’m So Blessed by CAIN isn’t a song that anyone will want to miss this summer. With catchy lyrics and joyful hearts, CAIN has created a heartwarming song about God’s daily blessings in our lives. I’m So Blessed reminds each of us that we can always be thankful for God no matter our circumstances.
Although CAIN is new to CCM, the band members have been together all their lives. The three siblings—Logan Cain, Taylor Cain Matz, and Madison Cain Johnson—grew up very close as “pastor kids” and were involved in the music during church services early on. When they were older, CAIN entered and won a music contest through cover songs. However, none of the siblings knew how to write original music and had yet to name their band. Their grandfather worked in country music publishing at the time and helped CAIN connect with others in the industry. After five years in country music, CAIN stepped back from the scene and helped with worship at a local church in Nashville. While there, a man from the congregation approached them about pursuing Christian music. The band went forward with the idea and signed with Provident Label Group in 2020. Since then, CAIN has received nominations for music awards, has been widely recognized in CCM, and has released their debut album, Rise Up.
I’m So Blessed is one of the latest songs released from Rise Up. The song is richly upbeat as the band sings about the blessing to be found in our every day. So many things threaten to trip us up, whether in the morning or the evening, and it can be easy to dwell on our problems. Instead of getting stuck there, however, CAIN pursues an even better truth: I’m So Blessed. Perhaps these words have become a dull sound to some ears, but CAIN uses them to emphasize how much we have to be thankful for. In the opening lines of the song, Taylor Cain sings, “Trouble knocking at my door today, / I ain’t gonna let it in” and the chorus later continues, “‘Cause on my best day, I’m a child of God / On my worst day, I’m a child of God”. By pairing such lyrics together, CAIN reminds all of us that we get to choose what rules over our day. When we focus on our circumstances, we risk losing sight of God’s hand of blessing in our lives. But when we give Him the glory—regardless of our circumstances—we can joyfully say “I’m So Blessed.”
“We had eighty shows canceled in 2020 and it became kind of sarcastic—I’m so blessed. But for us, we say it in faith. You don’t have to be having the best day of your life to be blessed.”
Madison Cain Johnson

KAMB is thrilled to offer another hope-filled song to our listeners: God Is In This Story by Katy Nichole and Big Daddy Weave. Through powerful lyrics about God’s presence and healing in our lives, these artists encourage all of us to trust God no matter how dark our seasons may feel. Both Katy Nichole and Big Daddy Weave have encountered their own rough patches in recent years, and it is truly inspiring to listen to the truths pouring out from their hearts and into this song.
Katy Nichole is a new CCM artist who recently established her presence in the music industry with her debut single “In Jesus’ Name”. Before she signed a recording contract with Centricity Music as a singer/songwriter, Nichole participated in her church’s choir as a teen and used her music as a source of self-expression as she battled the pain of her scoliosis. She had no relief from the pain until a few years (and two surgeries) later when God miraculously healed her. Nichole later went to college and received a degree in the medical field but felt God calling her in a different direction: music. She recognized His desire for her to share about His power of healing with others through her music, and this journey eventually led her to Big Daddy Weave.
With inspiring songs such as “Redeemed”, “My Story”, “I Know”, and so many more, Big Daddy Weave has become a well-known and well-loved band in CCM over the last two decades. The band formed in the late 1990s when the members met at college in Mobile, Alabama, and they have continued to release memorable songs and albums ever since. The band encountered an unexpected tragedy in January of 2022 when Jay Weaver—founding member, bassist, and Mike Weaver’s brother—passed away due to health complications after contracting COVID-19. While the band mourns this loss, they are also committed to continuing their work for the Lord.
Considering the weight of their collective experiences and their shared love for the Lord, it should come as no surprise that Katy Nichole and Big Daddy Weave have joined together to release their new song God Is In This Story.
By coming together as a team, Katy Nichole and Big Daddy Weave have created a masterpiece through their song God Is In This Story. The song emphasizes the wholeness of God’s care for each of us as the lyrics touch on the daily struggle of remembering who God is rather than focusing on ourselves. God is the One who comes to us in the darkest of moments and the lowest of lows. He is the One who reminds us that we are loved beyond the mistakes we’ve made. He is the One who has said that we are worthy because of His Son. Even when we feel like there’s no way that He could still love us or as though we’ve been abandoned to the pitfalls of life, God is still with us. All throughout God Is In This Story, the artists draw us back from staring at our shortcomings and redirect our attention to God, the One who still cares about the details in each and every one of our stories.
“This is a song of hope, a song of encouragement, that God really is present with us in all of the seasons of our lives – the really great ones and the ones that are difficult. God is not giving up on us. He is in the details of our lives. We can trust Him that He is working things together for our good.”
Mike Weaver

There's torn-up pages in this book Words that tell me I'm no good Chapters that defined me for so long But the hands of grace and endless love Dusted off and picked me up Told my heart that hope is never gone God is in this story, God is in the details Even in the broken parts, He holds my heart, He never fails When I'm at my weakest, I will trust in Jesus Always in the highs and lows, the One who goes before mе God is in this story So if the storm you're walkin' through Feels like it's too much and you Wondеr if He even cares at all Well, hold on tight to what you know He promised He won't let you go 'Cause all of healing's written in His scars God is in this story, God is in the details Even in the broken parts, He holds my heart, He never fails When I'm at my weakest, I will trust in Jesus Always in the highs and lows, the One who goes before me God is in this story If it reads like addiction, if it reads like disease He's the One who frees the prison, He's the healer of all things If it reads like depression, if it reads broken home He's the One who holds your sorrow, He won't leave you here alone God is in this story, God is in the details Even in the broken parts, He holds my heart, He never fails When I'm at my weakest, I will trust in Jesus Always in the highs and lows, the One who goes before me Always in the highs and lows, the One who goes before me God is in this story (You're in this story) God is in my story (Right here in my story)
