Iveth Luna grew up in Mesquite, Texas, just outside of Dallas. She is part of a family where ministry is just way of life. She began to explore her talent as a singer and songwriter after she encountered the music of Kari Jobe. That is when the Lord began to unfold the plan He had for her gifts and talents. First, as she began singing in church at the age of 16, and then during her freshman year in college she had an amazing encounter with the Lord and she knew that her true calling was to be involved in music, but was unsure how that would happen.
Iveth explains her encounter with the Lord here
Luna began writing songs and music that reflected her heart. The Lord opened the door for Luna to meet the Ward Brothers, known for their band Consumed By Fire. They encouraged her to make a trip to Nashville and shortly before the pandemic hit, she met executives at Red Street Records!
Soon after the introduction, she signed a record deal and began collaborating with producer Kevin Rooney. She has written “I Still Believe” for a time during the pandemic when she saw people become complacent in their faith. Iveth then wrote “Second Chances” with Jordan and Caleb Ward and Brian Bunn. This song sends the clear message that we are all human and God has extended grace to each of us and calls us to extend grace to our fellow humans.
“In You” is Iveth’s latest single is the perfect reminder to us all that our strength comes from the Lord. Written by Iveth, Jordan and Caleb Ward and Don Koch, we are reminded that we all need confidence in every situation in life and Christ is the perfect source. Enjoy the official lyric video below.

Tree and the Nails by Billy Ballenger was released as his debut single in February 2021 and has had a huge impact on audiences everywhere. Ballenger, a singer, songwriter, and public speaker co-wrote this song with Jason Roy and Jesse Garcia of the band, Building 429.
Billy Ballenger had a passion for music but was troubled and bullied as a child which led to some bad decisions. He was a married father at age 18 and continued in the party lifestyle, substance abuse, burglaries, and violence. He and his wife were both arrested, sentenced to 6 years in jail, and lost custody of their daughter. It was in jail that Billy made the decision to follow Christ and his life was radically changed. He and his wife were released early and soon won back full custody of their daughter. Billy pursued his dream of becoming a recording artist and he has a mission of bringing the hope of Christ to the lost and hurting all over the world through his music and sharing his testimony.
Tree and the Nails is a song of true redemption. We are all broken people struggling with failure and we each deserve death. Because of Christ’s death on the cross, God sees us through Christ’s sacrifice. God does not see us as broken, He sees “more than enough” as Billy describes in the lyrics below:
LYRICS: Tree And The Nails
What do I do with all these scars
How do I move on when they’re with me dawn to dark
I know that I need grace
Oh God meet me in this place
You call me chosen
You call me loved
You don’t see broken
You see more than enough
Whenever I wander
Whenever I fail
Your love doesn’t falter
Your love prevails
Through the tree and the nails
God I’ve been longing for the day
When I’d finally be free
Like you promised I would be
As I pray and I seek
I know you’ll answer me
No I’m not who I was when I started this race
But I know you’re not done you’re not finished with me
Cause everything broken is coming undone
You called us your daughters you called us your sons Yeah
