I had cancer at 7 months old which was malignant, with a 98% fatality rate. When they took the tumor out they pulled on a nerve that changed my left eye color from brown to green and stopped my sweat glands on my left side. They took out a rib and it miraculously grew back 1 month later. I know I’m here for a reason. My mom said I sang my first song before I said my first word (literally). I’ve been singing in Church consistently since I was 12. My first solo was “Mary Did You Know” at about 8 years of age. I’ve been in church my whole life but I started a personal relationship with Christ when I was about 10 years of age when I was filled with the Holy Ghost. We became close friends at about age 14 when I started getting into the Word and knowing Him on a personal level.

I’m just a man who loves the Lord and loves to sing and write songs to honor and glorify God. I enjoy sharing the Lord with others. Ever since I can remember I was a singer and songwriter. I sang secular music with groups starting at the age of 19. I had been disobedient all of my life towards all authority figures, including my parents. Most importantly, I was disobedient to God. Growing up as an only child I became selfish, self-centered, and controlling. I felt everything had to go my way no matter where I was or who I was with. And that behavior and lifestyle landed me in prison. That is how I came to know God. I had always believed in Jesus, but I finally repented and asked God to forgive me for anything I’d done to myself and to others and I gave him full control. At the age of 29 I began singing for Christ. My life is becoming so much better and easier because I can wake up every morning and know it is not about me.

I’m 22 years of age and I’m currently a student at CSU Stanislaus; I also work at In-N-Out Burger in Modesto. I’ve been playing music for about ten years now and love everything about it. I was raised in a Christian home. I professed my life to Christ in early childhood, although I have definitely taken some wrong turns. When I was a senior in high school I rededicated my life to Christ and got baptized. Though I’ve been a Christian for most of my life, I have never had this much passion for it since the death of my dad. I feel that God has led me to play music and reach out to others. I want to let others know that God loves them and though he works in ways that seem incomprehensible, we must never question Him, because He has a great plan for every single person that He created. This is my inspiration for writing music; moreover, this is my inspiration for life!

I grew up in a very musically talented family. I sing in church every Sunday and Wednesday. I just love to sing! It’s my passion and my ministry. I have been raised in Church my whole life. When I was about 9 yrs old I really found God to be so real to me in a personal way. Since then, God has continued to be there for me in good times and bad. I don’t know how people make it without Christ. He’s my best friend and my Rock. No matter what happens in the KAMB Christian Artist Search, I have a fulfillment in Christ and that is the greatest life to have.

I love to write and play music. I’ve been playing piano for four years and have recently started playing the guitar. I also love photography and trying to capture God’s creation with a picture. I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. I’ve been on the youth worship team at Bethel for five years and have been in various talent shows. I’ve grown up in the church but my faith didn’t become my own until my mom had a stroke when I was 11 years old. It’s through that event that God proved who He is to me. He’s still God no matter what happens and He is in control.

I have two wonderful parents and I am a sister to five amazing brothers! I love crocheting, knitting, baking and cooking. I am an avid reader AND writer. I Civil War reenact with my family. I have loved singing ever since I can remember. I auditioned for a musical a couple of years ago and was blessed with a part where I was able to sing a couple of solos. After that I wrote my first song (lyrics) and recorded it in my brother’s home studio. Since then I have recorded two more songs. I became a Christian when I was very young through my parents. They read about God’s love for me, and his forgiveness for my sins. They showed me God’s love through their own.

I am 22 years old and have lived in Ceres, CA pretty much my whole life. I come from a big family. I have three sisters and four brothers. I love to minister in song and I have been singing since I was 10. My other main interest is in the Culinary Arts, which I studied at Columbia College in Sonora, CA for 2 ½ years. My father was a music minister and has been my music coach since I was little. I started singing first at church when I was 13. I sang solos in choir, youth group, and for women’s conferences. I’ve also sung for weddings, and the national anthem at 9/11 ceremonies and school sporting events. I have always been brought up in the church and my parents were very involved with it. It wasn’t until I was 13 that I began to feel how God worked in my life! I was at an Acquire the Fire Convention and His presence just manifested in the stadium and in me. That was the day I decided to give my life to the Lord.

I was born and raised in Fresno as the youngest of three daughters. As a family, we attended Fresno Evangelical Church, where I was an Awana member and was part of Impact Fresno and Impact LA. When I was 19, I met my husband of now 8 years, who is by far my best friend and biggest fan! I have worked for several years in ministry, and I am currently working as a make-up artist. Music was all around me growing up, but I was very shy. Even though I was shy, I knew that this was something God had put in me. It wasn’t until after I graduated from college that I felt I was able to let go and do what God made me to do! My walk with the Lord has been one of process and growth. I grew up in a believing home, and learned at a young age how to do and say the right things, but unfortunately, my heart didn’t follow. But it wasn’t until I almost lost everything; my job and my marriage, that I realized the Lord was so much more than a Sunday visit.

I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I recently moved to Fresno. I am a passionate, energetic, joyful person. I love forming relationships and being in God’s creation. I also love to write, sing, and create. I have been singing as a hobby for many years. In High School I sang in the choir and led worship at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos for a year before moving to Fresno, where I now sing at the Well Community Church. I grew up in a strong Christian home and always attended Church with family, so I knew the Gospel message. However, my faith was challenged and solidified in College when I truly gave my life to Christ. After graduation God brought me into ministry, which has also been life-changing and a growing experience for faith.
